I don't think we're going to see such a massive increase next time, Sky's viewing figures are falling, they're likely to offer the same, or even reduce it.
Y Yes but these are deals aimed at Asia and American market. The product Is not worth the massive amounts that's paid it's quite frankly boring for the most part. Teams to scared to lose I nearly always end up switching over.
Kinnel, they're all at it, Wolves sent their new shirt into space (should have left it there, it's crap)...
I'm always astounded people pay fifty quid, or is it more, for a city shirt. It's a piece of cheap tat. Other clubs too, not just ours obviously.
Just been to check, replica shirt made in Thailand and polo shirt made in India, not so cheap tat. There could be few pages worth here.
Each to their is but I find it a bit odd that grown men buy and wear football shirts Saying that my son bought me a retro England shirt( 1970's- think Gerry Francis) for my birthday a few years ago and I have to say I look a proper berk in it. It's a bit tight around the gut and has a curry stain on the front. I resemble Onslow from Keepin up appearances when I wear it. Not the best of looks.
My mates wife is a Jawdie supporter and me and him went up there for the game we won in the first Prem season. Her, her brother and her dad looked at us and said "where's the Hull shirts, lads?" Why would we be wearing shirts? We're not playing. All them fookers wear one every game. Weird mentality innit?
I mean tat as in tacky. What are they polyester? They certainly start to smell a bit, think Wembley in the sun, some sweaty ****ers. They'd be better if they did them in cotton. But then they'd last longer and that's not what they want.
Yup,the shirt for some no matter how cheap symbols passion handed down and is worn with pride. Some of our lot who f'off with 20 mins to go or wear Liverpool shirts in Hull obviously know better.
Wearing a variation of a shirt rolled out each year to clapping seals in order to do absolutely nothing but raise money for the club is a sign of passion handed down? Have a ****ing word.
Spot on. Even in America, where sport is all about the money they rarely change their shirts, some teams go over 5 years without a change. It's usually only when a new sports clothing company takes over the league that they are forced to change, like the NHL are doing next season with adidas. Over here it's 2/3 shirts a season, obviously mugs are for it or they wouldn't do it.
****ing Money Shop? the only problem with these pay-day-lenders is that, when you borrow from them, it goes on your permanent record and affects your credit. youre best to get an overdraft from your bank... cheaper
