    So West Ham got into the Europa league, by this fair play thingy.

    They play their first match today against some team named Lusitanos (who ever the **** they are).

    Would you have taken this?

    Most players are just returning from holidays.

    Would there be a decent crowd at the SOL for this kind of game?

    There might be a canny turnout Comm especially as the withdrawal symptoms are kicking in.

    Not sure about it from the clubs viewpoint like. Squad size, injury risk and the like. Is there much cash to be made from it?

    In terms of exposure I think It would be good for us, shame SAFC can't come to OZ for pre season..

    Money is diabolical for the Europa League, only point to it now is the fact of the winners get CL the following season

    Apart from that it pretty much just wrecks teams in terms of fatigue
