From what I remember it's like a big bus shed / factory conversion, probably holds 500-800 without checking and it's the 'tribute' you'd be seeing... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Leadmill
I quite like Leadmill Was there to see Billy Bragg when there was first talk of it being bought out. Decent small venue. Went to little brother’s stag night there too. (Leadmill outlasted his marriage!)
Managed to see all of 3 songs by Candid Faces in Polar Bear after the game, then onto Underdog to watch Morals, thought i'd only get bout 20 mins but gig didn't start until 10.30 as some of the lads were at the match, good indie band worth catching !
Well done on achieving the near impossible, 'Candid' and 'Morals' in the same post on this board, gives me renewed hope for this coming Saturday. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Tenacious D at the first direct in Leeds last night. Superb gig, apart from all the bellends shouting 'Leeds, Leeds, Leeds' in between each song.
Will they ever fix the Ouse bridge Will they ever span it o’er Why is it always the exception to the rule Is it such a privilege not to speed across that bridge I’m glad i don’t have to go to Goole Christopher Rowe and Ian Clark Comeback gig I’m sick of 30 mph across it !!! Get it done !!!
Skindred coming to Hull Uni on October 18th, saw them in Leeds last year and at Download before that, they're fantastic performers and well worth seeing, even if you aren't into heavier music. Wouldn't mind City coming out to this for one game, it's my five year old girl's favourite song.
