If Puel has made up his mind about team rotation, and his squad, it makes sense to leave them at home, so they remain fresh for Sunday.

 

Surprised Tadic has gone to be honest. Unless he is now super-fit.

 

I hope we don't make too many changes.

Forster, Virgil, Romeu & Tadic have to start for me.

 

Forster, Martina, Van Dijk, Yoshida, Targett, Clasie, Reed, Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Redmond, Long would be my guess at tomorrows starting XI.

 

Just seen Davis may not have travelled either so Clasie in for him.

 

Good. Particularly Austin and Bertrand.

 

I like it, only one with big value as a sub is Austin and he needs to be in cotton wool anyway. If they're getting rested might as well rest them properly. I imagine we're also keeping the international break in mind for players like Davis for whom it most certainly isn't a break.

 

Squad wise I agree but in the starting line up I would expect to see Maya for Fonte, Targett for Bertrand, Long for Austin and JWP for Davis.

 

Love that the youth are being given a proper chance. Top management. Should be a tough test for them, but fantastic experience.

 

But will others be saying that if we don't play all that well.

For the record I completely agree with you, think it's a fantastic opportunity.

 

This game for me, is bigger than the Leicester one. But the three players not travelling seems logical, have faith in CPs selection. Hope they are as well drilled as the League cup game, then we have a good chance of taking some point/s.

 

I agree to an extent, I wouldn't like to see 3/4 all playing though as it makes the game much more difficult to win (not including Targett in that btw.)

 

Be'er Shever also have Sahar(sp?) playing for them.

The home fans will probably be a bit confused by 'you skate bastard!'

 

Isn't it amazing how much faith we suddenly have in Puel

 

All it took was 4 winning clean sheets in a row!

 

Seeing the players believe, well that makes things a whole lot easier.

 

And a necessity. We have a pretty small squad, and we have an awfully long fixtures list. Can't start the best XI (or even eleven of the best fourteen) every time out.
