Thank you Ron. There is always going to be differences of opinion with football. It goes with the game. But, as you say Rocky having a difference of opinion politely is so much better. Trying to understand somebodies point of view whilst picking through the insults is so much harder and kind of puts you off even reading them after a bit. Have you ever had a look at the Sunderland site? It's a good job Bristol isn't up that way and a close rival. Most of the posts would be unreadable due to making one blush.
I'm still here as well, although don't post as regularly as I should. The new gasroom is a lot better than it used to be, mainly because you have to register to be able to post. The Facebook group can get irritating when the same people take over every single post and push their views down everyone's throat. Having said that, the admins have removed a few idiots recently which has made it a bit better.
Some good things I like here are the betting competition, guys match threads, even if I'm drunk and say something stupid then no one tells me to **** off. A few of us on here don't go to many games but we don't get berated about it from the others. And of course the daily quiz, which I will start again right now.
I'm a regular visitor but I only really post after I've been to a game (which isn't that often unfortunately) and leave the main debating to those who are more in the know. I'm sure there are many more like me. It'll pick up when the season starts.
betting competition is a great thing about this forum, one shame is that we don't have mny on here that are at every game - I can only do about half nowadays and I still think im at more than most on here!
