    Agree. We were linked with some good players - Aluko, Shackell and that ginger CM who's name escapes me. We ended up with Fuller and Button, and still came within 3 points of the playoffs.

    i think we'll now finish just outside bottom 4. the club is a mess, we've done half our pre-season friendlies and then sold the spine of the team.

    we'll still be "gelling" at xmas and by then, it'll be too late to be near the top of the league.

    Interesting that we've now scored 2 goals in 630 minutes of football, and we haven't exactly been playing Real Madrid.

    Has anyone revised their opinion following the first three games?

    1 goal and 1 point from the collective might of Bury, Cheltenham (Cup) & Northampton

    Slade will still need to have the managerial ability of Joey Deacon to get us relegated from this Pub League, but I still reckon we will finish around 10th at best, especially as the emergency loans system has gone this season

    If Holmes and Magennis pick up injuries we could well go down this season.

    We are that bad.
