Comfortable win but would have liked a bagful just to rub it in .

 

I think we were in about the same position on 06/07 but the gap from 1st to 6th was much closer.

Don't get your hopes up though, play offs might be a bridge too far and do we want it this season anyway...I cannot really see us beating the likes of leicester or Norwich over 2 legs anyway. Would be nice to get 6th and knock TWS down to 7th though.

Next season will be our season, Pearson will get in 6 or 7 more of his own players who are hungry and not greedy..then we will be there or thereabouts.

Good game today, professional if not that entertaining.

Ashbee looked like he was paid in pies though...White is not his colour, he looked huge out there.......

I've actually found a website that gives you the league table on a given date! http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2007-2008/table We were in 9th place with 46 points, 2 points behind the playoffs and 11 off automatic...

 

It's interesting to see Watford in 1st this time that year. Goes to show anything can happen in this crazy game

 

If you look at the table for this weekend last year (13th Feb.) Blackpool were 9th.

 

said it would be 1-0 all week.. amid all these crazy 4, 5 and 6-0 predictions...
fairly straight forward win in the end, ..cant believe we still didnt make up any ground on top 6 tho!!

 

I had a feeling Ash would go in hard on one of our players.. that and the stuff with the crowd shows he's harbouring grudges..
