cos of our natter on the other thread had a look at chelsea tonight. took them to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

A winner. Hadn`t looked before. Didn`t know those options were there.

I backed them to win 2-1 @15/2. Put £5 on, so get £42.50 back

 

That`s a bit too exact for me atm.

Early in the season, a bit cautious, I thought they`d win but not by much. 17/10 for 3 chances looked good. Gets me another flutter.

My pension won`t go to more than a couple of quid but I enjoy it. Never bet more than I can afford to lose. Asking for trouble that is.

Do you pick say 10 teams to follow their form/team closely or just what you fancy?

 

I take an interest in every league, even a lot of foreign ones. So I guess it's just what I fancy when I'm weighing up how teams have been doing and where I think the value is.

There's a full fixture list tomorrow night, but I only fancy two teams. Villa and Luton. So I've put £12.50 of my winnings on that double for £45 back, hopefully. The remaining £30 went back to my bank account.

So busy twisting on about our lot I forgot that match was on.

Can`t beat betting with the bookies money.

 

Had that bet in a treble with Both teams to score in the Leicester v Arsenal game and over 2.5 in the Spurs Palace game.

 

That`s exactly the sort of thing I was going to pick `83`s brains about. We were on about this the other night.

No idea about those bets. Hundreds of them which I just skipped over as I hadn`t a clue. Still haven`t. Far too many to look at so I didn`t bother really is the bottom line.

Ah well, never mind.

 

Hopefully 83 will come back and help us out on those bets. I don't do them either but I'd like to.

That seems a better idea than going for exact scores.

Gives a bit of leeway. Obviously lower odds but more room for error.

I`ll have a closer look at those bets.

 

I don't do exact scores ever. I'd rather pot build than chase long odds singles or oversized accumulators full of odd on selections.

Minimum 4/1 on trebles and minimum 7/1 on 4 folds. I'll stake no more than a tenner on single or double, fiver on a treble or 3 quid on a four fold is my rule of thumb. Nice responsible gambling full of pot building and betting the bookies money.

I've already withdrawn my £15 stake limit for the weekend thanks to that first win so now I can't lose money this weekend.
