    Health and safety dickheads have saved scores of lives with the workplace being a far,far less dangerous place than it has ever been..This example has nothing whatsoever to do with health and safety rules, and more to do with pompous idiots..

    It's just as well we're not building ships or mining coal anymore cos nee **** would get owt done.
    When a highly skilled man who can work a lathe to fine tolerances has to be trained how to use a step ladder that is more than two rungs high it's coming to summat.

    Without strict health and safety laws the ordinary working man will be exploited and put in danger..I'm all for sensible rules being enforced regarding this..

    Everybody could also ignore the rule and tell the hierarchy muppets who thought of this to go away in jerky movements.

    PS, let someone name the committee or person who decided this. Let's embarrass the pricks.

    PPS. It's also true as MrRAW pointed out we do need sensible H&S rules.
