I see Giggs must be struggling for a job. He is now whinging about the number of foreign managers in British football, does he have a point or is he bleating because he isn't good enough to get a job he wants. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39039409
In the top 4 or 5 maybe.....How do you determine who is the greatest ? you cant really as there are so many to choose from.....
Bleating , like Neville did about us ditching Monk . Neville's remarks on Monk's sacking were a smokescreen to his own English club opportunities shortcomings . How did Neville do on the foreign scene anyways ?(whistling ) .
From what I understand, he has no interest in managing etc and only took the Valencia job because they were in a hell of a mess and the owners is part owner of Salford with Nevilles, Giggs, Scholes and Butt? That said, I think he'd be a $hit hot manager if he decided to take the leap.
But this is a thread about managerial opportunities As for not many people thinking Giggs isn't the best Welsh footballer, his record is incomparable. He's not the best Welsh international, but in terms of best footballer out of Wales, he's way out on his own when you consider his record, longevity at the highest level at the biggest club in the world, ability, honours won etc imo.
Cannot stand Giggs for the way he let wales down in our time of need but went on playing first team football for Man Utd. but he has nothing to prove too anyone about his football ability. He is up there with the very best and when it comes to his managerial ability then until he actually gets a job away from Man Utd then he is an unknown quantity and cant judge.....
This has to be both the funniest and most confusing thread ever. It had me thinking about Ian Rush sitting in the dug out at Chester with the press waiting to interview him about being a better manager than Fergie.
How can Giggs even comment? He apparently turned down the swans because we weren't 'ambitious' enough for him. If survivng and pushing for top 10 isn't enough, then by his logic I would imagine he would only take a top 6 prem league job.... which he will never ever get without experience. So you wanna know why British managers don't have enough jobs, it's because people like you Giggs are not willing to do the hard work with the smaller teams and have this unfathomable expectation that your dream job is going to land right at your feet. Asshole.
Fergie ... isn't that the guy who was an FA Cup final loss away from being sacked and then the money rolled in after the win .
I hope you voted Brexit Ryan? Every little helps son, don't fret, UKIP will be in power shortly too, that should see you get a managers job! KTF son.........
Giggs needs to realise that just because you were a good player doesn't mean that you have the right to walk into a top managers job. He was given an opportunity at UTD but obviously wasn't good enough otherwise they wouldn't have let him go. It's the same in other jobs, a good menial day to day worker doesn't necessary make a good managers. Good people skills, problem solvers, rational, logical and self aware people make good managers. And if you ask me the best manager of all time isn't Fergie it's Brian Clough and best Welsh player ever has to be Gareth Bale.
Best Welsh international - Bale Best Welsh Player - Giggs. Bale has been top class for 4 years. Giggs was top class for 10-20 years and in an era where footballers could and were allowed to tackle hard.
