Looks like Sandro still pushing for a move, if he can get any suitors, but Jimmy would be happy if he stayed (and on last nights performance, who could blame him) http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor.../jimmy-floyd-hasselbaink-coy-sandros-11790980
It is on the BBC Sports news feed too...did he play well last night? I reckon if we could get our money back on him, surely he is worth getting off the wage bill?
"Sandro sees himself as a Premier League player and we need to help him to get there or the Champions League with a club in another country. "That's what he wants and you have to respect that. But I am working with the players who want to be with us in the Championship. Nuff said.
With Cousins, Luongo, Borysiuk and Henry, CM is probably our strongest position. Sandro is surplus to requirements - and he is too expensive.
I don't think we stand a hope in hell of recouping what we paid for him, wasn't it something like £8-12m?
He still is a good player. If we really do get a good team together he would be a good part of it. He puts a lot into his game... sometimes a little too much almost!
Surely we wouldn't have paid way more than we should have for a player who has under performed? Most unlike us.
He scored more goals last night, than the above 4 have managed between them in a season and a half ! I acknowledge that Borysiuk and Cousins have only just joined, but I don't see any goals coming from Luongo or Henry. Your centre mids have to contribute some goals over the season, and it has been a serious problem for us for a while now.
He may be a better player, when fit, than some, or all of the others mentioned, but he's a chronic crock and we can't afford his wages.
Permanently injured, doesn't want to be at the club for any reason but the ludicrous wage and rarely any good but scored twice against Rochdale so build the team around him
He is not one of the EVIL ones. He is a good player, player who wants to play rather than just collect his money....he does not shirk. However he is costly, he is injury prone, he wants to leave. To me it is a no brainer...if we get an offer near what we paid....get him off the wage bill. If no one comes ...play him when neccessary ....
Evil ones?! Only one that looked the part I remember was Joe Jordan, but that was over 40 years ago and before dental inserts. He looked almost sweet by the time he came to us!
Tony Pulis seemed quite pleased with Sandro last season during his loan spell at WBA - after their dire performance at Northampton Town last night it would appear they could make good use of his services again.
We may have to come to some agreement with Sandro before the transfer window closes. His wages are likely a problem for prospective buyers, particularly with his history with injuries. Another one that has come back to haunt us.
Talking of permanent crocks, it doesn't look like Traore is getting much game time up at Florist In fact there is a distinct possibility that he may not start a game before his 3 year contract there expires
That's how we roll, or used to. Get rid of him and the new R's will rise like the proverbial phoenix. Is there anyone else left?
