I saw him make more of a jokey one last week and thought it must be same one , but that is a tad harsh to do on TV , fair enough if that's the opinion down the pub with his mates ..... Shows he's a proper fan tho , not like Lineker who remembered he was a Leicester fan last year
I thought it was a fair comment and a passionate plea from a fan and someone also with a key position at the club. At least he can influence poor chairmanship as he also offered to resign his position within the club.
I'd partly agree if he was on the right platform but he's a broadcaster being paid to do a job. He shouldn't be pleading for somebody to be made jobless in that capacity. If he wants to express that personal opinion as a fan he should do so on Twitter, FB a Fan's Forum or Monday morning at the club, direct to the Chairperson.
Or he's fortunate enough to be in a position to influence direct action. It depends on your viewpoint. I admire him for having the balls to do it, it was a passionate plea and he clearly cares deeply about the club. I'm sure if we were in a position to do the same as a passionate fan, I'm sure we would.
Completely agree. How would he have felt is Jones had used his programme notes or post match press interviews to passionately argue for Stelling to be sacked? I think he's let his perceived popularity go to his head here and he's forgotten that he's a broadcaster and that this is a man's livelihood.
He's out of order and should be reprimanded by sky! He said it wasn't personal but it was Very much so! He's employed to present a program which he's very good at and quite funny! But he can't be doing that!
