The players seemed to be really playing for him. Only one game of course, but we looked confident and happy to attack all game. The new owners (if they exist out there now) have to consider it.
Yes....definitely deserves the job. The team knows him and he knows them. Tactics were spot on today....Vardy completely nullified.
it would be completely unjustice for mike to not get the job now there is a real team spirit and togetherness and he is part of that and i really liked his interview whatever happens, he should get the chance
If they see a team perform like that, with a manager (acting) who can slot 'em into position like that - why not?
At last we didn't see Thudd as the deep midfielder allowing him to get forward Phelan can have the job just for doing that !!! He looks like he's got a team spirit aswell
Whilst it is only one game, he deserves at least to be given a chance for a few weeks, hopefully if we get new owners they give a chance to prove himself too.
another one for giving him the job in the short term at least....team spirit looks spot on and a lot of that must be down to him.
Does he deserve it? Yes, will he get it? i don't know.. but congratulations Mike Phelan today whatever happens to you, a magnificent preparation and result
Would SB have got that performance from the team today.... I don't think so.... when we were under pressure under him, we dropped deeper and deeper.. at no point did we stop trying to get forward and played some nice football to boot. Even though I was fearing the worst we looked uncomfortably comfortable. The players seem to have responded to Phelan and how he set them up.
Absolutely, got the team playing for him and set them up to attack and be difficult to beat. We now need stability and some signings. Give him the job - well deserved for conducting himself superbly in the face of extreme adversity. Allams are ****s.
