i have spoken to steve and he has had a family bereavement and understandably is dealing with other **** way more important than taking the piss out of us. He will be back when all the usual stuff is sorted.
Sad to hear that not all is well. Hope things turn out for you. But why did I have to learn of this on the Leeds' board.
Sorry to read of your sad news here this morning Steve. Thoughts are with you and you family at this time
Sorry to read your news Steve, give him/her a great send off as you will always remember them, as you know my brother died in May and i can remember word to word conversations we had years ago with fondness and a smile, the negatives have been wiped from the memory bank. All the best, Stu
Cheers Stu and thanks mate as it's appreciated, everyone that attended said that me & my brother Glen gave our dad a great send off that he'd be proud of, my attitude was **** it, lets's do it in style as we'll only get one chance. We both gave reflective memories/tongue in cheek speeches to reflect dad's happy go lucky outlook on life as he loved life and nothing bothered him, the 3 songs we chose were pretty woman going in as dad loved that song to bits despite him not being a music fan, family man by fleetwood mac in the middle and Monty python coming out with the famous always look on the bright side of life to reflect dad's outlook - I even turned down the chance to play the explicit version as they called it but it's only got the **** word in it but I thought, no, we'll go with the clean version out of respect for the occasion in a house of god and respect for dad, although he would have loved the swear version and would be laughing and smiling down saying, we done son, you knew I'd like that one!! We also had a life time of 4 pictures to the funeral as a boy, in his 30's, in his 50's on BR and in his 70's/80's, me & Glen attended dad's internment into Nan's grave last Thursday at Hither Green crem so I'm glad that he's properly at peace now. Sorry for your loss as I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
