Although there are many things wrong at the club I've always found the ticket office staff to be very helpful and professional. What is odd is that sometimes I'm charged the £2.60 booking and postage fee, and sometimes just the 60p postage, and sometimes neither. For Villa they charged just the postage!

FFS this thread is like being trapped in a pub with Uncle Mort, Mr Brandon and Uncle Staveley. The truth is you feel this way because you are old. You have run out of supplies of serotonin, and there's no more endorphins to go around. Go to your shed and listen to the shipping forecast. Joylessly sip your can of John Smith's and suck your Silk Cut till you're smoking the filter. And then light another. No one here gets out alive, remember that. The darkness will come for you and it will all be over soon, I promise. Miserable ****s.

Since we moved to KC in 2003, we have had one season of mid table mediocrity. That's 1 season in 13 when we weren't realistically battling until the last few games for promotion/ relegation or one season of pushing for play offs (Barmby season). I suspect apart from elite clubs, that is quite a unique run. We have been 'spoilt' in terms of keeping the interest going each season. Compare that to Fer Ark and **** all happening (certainly positive) season after season.
I do think against my expectation we are assembling a team (still need a squad) capable of achieving mid table mediocrity. Isnt that quite an attractive aspiration?
    • sustain championship status
    • winning a few games!!
    • Loads of derbys
    • allows the kids to develop ( although you need continuity around them)
    • Ehabs keeps getting parachute payments until they have fleeced us or
    • a buyer comes in
I could accept all of that if it was a long term policy well communicated to stakeholders.

I'm looking forward to the new season, for me to see my team play is what I have done since 1958, and what I will continue to do whatever division they are in. I am not going to miss it because of the Allam's mismanagement of the club. I respect people that feel they need to boycott games until the Allam's have gone, and if I was 20 years younger I might think differently.

Or maybe things are just a bit **** at City and have been for years now.

I can't stand this argument where people are just dismissed as being miserable ****s for daring to complain about the situation.

Maybe the football and the media circus/bullshit that comes with it has started to bore people to death.
Maybe some don't like giving their money to people that despise them.
Maybe people like you are happy to take all the **** the Allams throw at them and still lick the **** from the back of their arses.
    Ok !!!!

Why are they lying then and saying they are aiming at promotion. They can't even assemble a full squad, exactly like last season. They said they aren't selling, if they are fleecing why would any supporter be bothered about supporting a team that is just a lame duck one? They are making the club look a joke and that's a long term problem.

Some will defend them no matter what they do.
    It would mean losing face.

    I'd have 16 team leagues
    only FA Cup
only allow friendlies in a set time frame before the season starts
if that means less money then so be it
make sure clubs can live stream their matches overseas

Yeah not far off that Pete.
I'd go with 18 team leagues.
