I get your point and my point is it ruins the build up , I'll still be stuck into the action come kick off time , but normally I'd be buying all the papers for build up , scouring on here and Twitter and Facebook just wanting to talk about the season , but it's all that which is ****e because everywhere is just a constant reminder about the other problems

I'm too stubborn to let the pair of CLints drive me away, but I can fully understand, and respect, those that are boycotting. Hopefully karma is very near making an appearance for Prick Bastardly and Muttley!

The owners & those staying away because they've been priced out by the owners deserve each other? What a strange outlook.

Lifelong supporters now unable to attend & young children, the club's future, whose parents cannot afford the Membership because the cost was near on 1000% more than their old season tickets deserve the Allams.

What a lovely man you must be.

Hmm .......I got 2 tickets yesterday for the Burton game.....one for me and one for my grandson for cheaper than the price of an old adult and child ticket from 2 years ago !! I wasn't going to take him, but I was surprised at how cheap the tickets were for both of us.....maybe you should try shopping around instead of believing the "fake news" on here.

And yes my grandson thinks I am lovely for taking him to City !!

Good job you haven't got three grandchildren who wanted to go, or it would have cost you £72-108.

Maybe you should try thinking about others, rather than just giving it the 'I'm alright Jack' bollocks.

Fake news? We didn't play Burton 2 years ago, how could they be cheaper?

    Proper facts.

Two years ago a season ticket in E6 for an 8 year old - £64. An adult £540

Last Season, same seat - £498 for an 8 year old, same for an adult.

    This season - £468

A comparison of single tickets like for like games. Adult & child.

    Wolves - April 2016, total price £35, Aug 2017 - £54.

Fake news is what you get at Supporter Meetings & from those, like yourself, who make it up in a pathetic attempt to justify your lack of principles & morals.

Barring the first five or six rows of N3 and N4 (behind the goal), the North Stand seems to be heading towards a near full stand for the Burton game.
Lets hope its a good atmosphere and everyone gets in on time

    Always some selfish ****s somewhere.

In regards to the OP, my anticipation for the upcoming season is pretty much at it's lowest point it has been since I started supporting City. I rarely even want to talk about the club, most of my posts on here are usually on O/T threads nowadays.

It's not just City either, I just don't give much of a **** about football in general at the moment. Falling out of love with it very quickly.

Judging by the pre-season results against quality clubs such as Ajax, Benfica & Nantes - we seem to have a young, talented set of players.. we probably need a few more additions but it's not all doom and gloom on the playing front.

The ownership is another ball game..

The scandalous transfer Fee for Neymar just about nails today's football.
    Paid for by Qatar authorities.
Financial Fair Play working brilliantly I see.

They'll have to sell some players to bring in some big fees, or they're getting a massive FFP fine.

When you're backed by the Financial clout of Qatar any fine is irrelevant.
In fact it's peanuts and will be laughed at.
Only threats of CL expulsion will deter.

There's other options, if they feel they're being jerked around, UEFA can issue a transfer ban or expulsion from the Champions League.

Though there's talk of all sorts of dodgy dealings to get round it, even making Neymar an ambassador for the Qatar World Cup, paying him £200m for doing it and having him pay his own release fee, so PSG technically get him for free.

Yes I think that sounds like you say,Dodgy.
It was on 5 Live yesterday that the fee is basically being paid by the state.
They are trying to be seen in a better light about there role of Winni g/hosting the World Cup and the practises they've used in the stadium construction.
