Some strange pricing by the bookies

Luton & Mansfield priced up at between 8/1 and 10/1

Swindon and Coventry 10/1 and 12/1

Lincoln range from 10/1 to 16/1

Wycombe range from 14/1 to 20/1

Full odds list (without Blackpool and Exeter) here. Cambridge appear to have 2 teams <doh>

Not very generous as usual are they. When you think about it Pompey should be favourites not 2nd for next season once more. They are just about to sign up a billionaire for christ sake. If you believe he isn't going to chuck a few quid their way then you will believe anything. He's used to dealing with fantasies after all with his background.

I was so pleased that Luton fell over this season but am not surprised they are amongst the favourites for next. League 2 looks like a tight league again for next season. I would not be surprised if it didn't throw up another round of I beat you and then you beat me games. I don't think I will be betting on the outcome.

The 80% who agreed to the Pompey deal if it all goes wrong after a couple of years, what's the betting none of them will admit to the deal. Wait to see if Cook is still in charge come September
