Could Wimbledon be above the MK Dons next year? Fleetwood are now in a higher division than the local league team a long way from the 1953 final

All my stake on Wimbledon at Wembley has to be done with several ex Gills in their side.

£1000 on plymouth - its the one team i dont want to go up (no offence meant to plymouth fans, its just the one ground of the 4 that i havnt done yet!) so it means they probably will!

I aim to tick plymouth off my list next season (if they lose the final of course) so I shall have to judge that myself!

The bits of the game I caught on radio 5 it sounded like Wimbledon were the better side on the day. Goes to show it is not how you start a season its how you finish it & I include us in that comment

Wimbledon were the better side but not a great game especially in the first half - at least this means i can get my trip to plymouth!

Cheers for running this as ever ron, great fun <cheers>

Apart from tonight, when I am baby sitting at Amanda's, I am without internet. Just as well the season is over <laugh>. If it isn't sorted soon I may switch to satellite internet

I've booked a holiday in Syria for that weekend.........

I know it's opinion jose but I'm not so sure about Wimbledon being the better side. Both teams were absolute pants all game and as a spectacle it was not worth the travel and entrance fee. They managed to score but to be fair whoever poked one in was always going to win. 2 - 0 was a bit of a stretch and there wasn't that between the sides. Shocking spectacle for league 2. This league is better than that but it wasn't on the day. Either side could have won so best of luck to Wimbledon who did. If they perform like that in League 1 then they will be back the season after next.

I wouldnt really disagree with much of that - i felt Wimbledon were better but not by much and it was a poor game - both sides are capable of better (in fact both sides have played better against us!)
