Thanks Tramore! I'd read the Clive one and got very pissed off about his continued snide remarks about our Cup scoring hero. Give it a break mate, if someone no longer with the Club gave him a too genourous contract, and that he wants PL football, is hardly a crime or should be too relevated now in September when he aparently only needs more games for march fitness. Unfortunately the Club''s current lack of ambition prevails, and he won't get these until the FA Cup starts January by when he'll be less fit, less valuable to a buyer, and will not have been allowed to contribute to our League points, or promotion or relegation battles. Antti with his very valid comments wins this contest hands down.
I think he's rightly had enough of those bleating for Sandro who ignore the clear reasons why he's not in the team. He wasn't even that good against Sunderland, a nice finish apart, even before the last half an hour where he was like an obese bloke at Sunday League.
I really agree with Antti''s comments about the over reactions to 1 or 2 who are possibly not being used in their best positions.
It is hard to see any clear reasons why Sandro is not in the Squad other than Financial. Noone getting only one proper match game a month is going to have 90 minute match fitness when that one in a month game comes around, now to be 3.5 months by the look of it.
He's not even close. Even if he avoids injury for more than five minutes for the first time in his career he didn't have a pre-season. Why give him game time when we've got good other options who also need game time, want to be here and are fit?
Not to mention the fact that his position was woeful for both their goals. A defensive CM is meant to be cutting out the danger in the centre in front of goal.
Yes. Within reason. However the problem is that some of our players are not quite as good as they or we would like them to be. A Championship footballer should be comfortable in a variety of positions but we know they are not. It's difficult to fathom how they got to that level if they really are one footed.
2 questions for you Watford. When will you learn how long 5 minutes is? Which one of our other central midfield options Henry, Luongo, Cousins or Ariel has managed a goal this season while Sandro has 3 in 2 matches?
Isn't financial enough? He's on £10k a game appearance money on top of his £40k a week* He is in no ones long term plan for QPR, including his own. And he's been deeply average every time I've seen him. *probably
So he got two against Rochdale. Let's build the team around him. When he's got something like the fitness a professional footballer should have he'll be considered. Borysiuk is fit, can play and wants to be at the club. Even ignoring the fact Sandro has never played more than 50% of a season for the last six years, what has he ever shown for us to suggest he's even a good footballer?
Fans think this bloke is worth 10m because he played for spurs ... he is all over place when i have seen him and isn't anywhere near fit IMO
You are guessing. But you get the point. His exclusion from every Championship game squad, but inclusion and 3 goals in 2 LC games, make it very hard to believe this decision is really performance based. But the Club has not acknowledged any financial impediment to Sandro playing Championship games as far as I know, as they did with Green, and JFH continues to praise Sandro's work in training, and maintain that he is in line his other mIdfield options. Seems unlikely, but hopefully with Cousins at least nursing a hamstring and needing a rest, he'll be on the Bench at least tomorrow.
