Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Tactically right and oh...we mustn't sell Llorente. :)

All kneel yee of little faith

Whatever his name God, Jehova, Jave, Allah, Buddah, Mahamed, Jesus, Stan or Brenda, they're gonna have to rewrite his book to include the story of 'The Miracle at Anfield'

Tom Carroll was excellent. It's been a long time since I saw a Swansea player cross the ball so perfectly for Llorentes second goal. Just proves that if you provide Llorente he will score.

    Amazing result.
    Well done Swans

New boys did very well.....bargain buys I think, especially Carroll. Best overall performance for years IMO. Organized, determined and a fair bit of skill on display!

That's exactly the type of performance that I was asking for earlier in the week. We were in the bottom 3 so needed to set up to defend well and knick things on the counter and that's what we did. Brilliant countering play and scored with half our chances and barely saw the ball. 74-26 possession and we won the game. Over the moon.

Just looking at the highlights now, didn't realise Carrol played such a big part in the 3rd goal. Hell of a debut from him

Agreed. I said I didn't believe Carroll was better than what we already have but based on that performance I was wrong - and happy to admit it.

I have no idea what channel you guys get but over here we had one with commentators Prodfoot? and Kilbane, first thing they said was Clement was playing a very narrow defence and it payed dividends. defending for their 2 goals was still woeful however 3 well taken goals, wow, what an unexpected win. 2 debs played well, still think Fer is an oxygen thief however over the moon

He's a player very much in the mould of Allen. As much as we've needed him this season (especially after that summer debacle) he's basically our answer to the majority of our problems in midfield.

Ahh first one was debatable, looked like Firmino pushed Olsson. Second one should have been avoided. But how many times can we say we've been pegged back then gone on to win the game this season? Amazing character and determination from the squad and defence. Turning point I reckon.

I posted a link showing Carrolls stats v the rest of our midfielders a few days ago. They showed that he is better than what we've got.

    He was excellent today.

If Llorente gets quality service, like he did today, he'll bang them in, we need to keep him, and tell Chelsea to sling their hook, hell of a header from him today, feed the Spaniard and he will score...................<ok>
