Quite a few contenders this week, which is a nice change.

Wickha, Larsson, Defoe, PVA,Rev, AJ.or someone else? choices choices.

PVA gets the nod from me, but it wasn't an easy choice.

I think Bridcutt should get a mention, the lad has took time to settle, but I like the way he is developing now

Shows how opinions can differ! I though he was "OK no more" as I put it to my dad. He should boss games like that imo.

AJ was good yesterday. Looked comfortable and confident. But glue man gets the nod from me too

Bridcutt did well under a lot of pressure. Many had the knives out for the lad and had him written off.

Briddo just because you don't rate the lad, he is not Catts but he is a different type of DM and both should play in a 2 man formation in mid-field, especially in our tough away games coming up. Its all about opinion though and we should not write players off too soon we all do it including myself. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I thought Johnson for me. Loved the way he drifted in off the wing and got involved more. He and PVA looked like they're developing a really good understanding.

Interesting on Bridcutt - we thought he was average. "A championship player playing against a championship team" is how we put it.

Seb. Never stopped closing down, was there to break up their midfield and imo owned the centre of the park.
Having said that it was generally a decent performance from the whole team.
As Flanders says Brids just goes about his business quietly and efficiently. Not to Catts standard Imo but decent.

Seb for me also, mostly because of what GT says, but also his work rate.

Could have also gone for either full back, because they were the providers of most of our chances <ok>

PVA for me. I think Bridcutt is a great signing, perfect understudy for Catts who never plays a full season due to suspension and injury.

You are so right there Vegas, Catts only manages around 20 games a season with injuries and suspensions, not sure exactly how many, unfortunately not someone to build a team around. Even in the 20 games played he is on a yellow card a lot of the time and not effective. On his day quality tho, just doesn't have enough due to injuries, Suspensions and walking on eggshells due to being booked.
