Listening to Tony Pulis talking after the WBA benefit match, he mentioned that Marcus Stewart had asked to be allowed to visit WBA and watch their training sessions and he had been delighted to agree to this request. Is this Marcus looking to improve scout WBA youngsters or him looking for a new job
It sounds like a good idea to watch another side's training methods. And I guess Tony Pulls will be like a mentor. This should all benefit Rovers and Stewie.Sounds like a good thing.
I'm hoping that a little scouting will take place and maybe we can pick up a loan signing or two that would be mutually beneficial to both clubs as well as helping Marcus in his coaching career for Rovers or in the future as a manager or coach at a bigger club if he so wishes
Going by what Pulis has said, there is a fondness from him towards us. I wouldnt be surprised if a good partnership comes from this. Like maybe some players joining on loan. Wouldnt be a bad thing! Stewart can have a look and see what is available.
Pulis is a Gashead through and through, afterall, he's worn the quarters and I would hope that he can push us a few loaners if needs dictate.
