Just seen this thread, having a little chuckle to myself. Proud Fox has left not606. You'll find me knocking about on the Premier League board, come say hello. We're in a state - no confidence and it looks like nothing is being done on the training ground. We could do with a few things going our way to be fair, we're the least confident and the most out of form side in the league right now. As for Ranieri. Yes, he won the league last season. But we didn't sign anything to say that "if we win the league we should accept abject failure and embarrassment". He does need to sort it out. I'm against sacking him on the principle that he did win us the league so he deserves to walk at the end of the season but that opinion changes quite frequently. Some of the players have been shown up now that their confidence has been drained. Poor recruitment has cost us big time. We need almost a completely new defence.
Nobody really knows, he decided he'd had enough of moderating and then after a week or two he just disappeared.
You owe him the right to win you the Champions' league. Having Leicester defending their European title whilst languishing in the championship would be great for football.
I think the main problem for most of the Leicester team is one of motivation. How can players like Morgan, Simpson, Drinkwater, Vardy, Albrighton, Ulloa and King top last season ? They're all good pros but never won a major title before - last season was such an incredible achievement. How do you follow that ?
I hope they win the Champions League and get relegated. I'm sure every Leicester fan out there would take that.
Yes, if I were offered that I'd ask where to sign. But people seem to be under the impression that we're under a similar contract with regards winning the PL. There's a lot of patronising from the media. Journalists keep spewing the same tripe. "I don't know why they're moaning, this is Leicester's rightful place" "Leicester fans would have ripped your arms off if you offered them the title in exchange for going down"... yada yada. Thankfully we didn't sign up to the "win then relegation" scenario that the world is desperate for. It's getting quite frustrating to be fair. The media making out that we're not allowed to have sustained success because we're "little Leicester". Just shows how much we upset the big teams last season.

You managed to stay up (at our expense) the previous year! You win the title last year and you're telling us you wouldn't snatch someone's hand off if going down this year was in with the deal? You maybe are getting a bit above yourself?
If we were offered it this time two seasons ago then of course we'd have taken it. The fact is, we weren't.
Yeah but you have won it! And that's what makes your achievement so great! And if you go down this year I could imagine it's 100 times easier to get back up then it would be to repeat what you did? you may think it's embarrassing if it happened but the records show you as champions! And on a side note Blackburn dropped 4 years later so you're breaking records again!
"Could do with a few things going your way". ****ing hell you must have had at least 3 seasons worth last year with dodgy penalties etc. Hard luck old bean. It's tough at the bottom.
So the big clubs want you to believe. Over the course of the season, these things iron themselves out.
I might know who he is, the things he says and his grammar are remarkably similar to someone from Loughborough. If it is him he's still going home and away.
I think I'm right i saying that some of the people who backed Leicester to win the Premiership last year at 5000/1 jokingly (at the time) backed them to be relegated this year at 50/1..... some people are just plain lucky...
