Just back from the bookies, pure guesswork at the start of the season like but this is what I've gone for:
Everton to beat watford at 4/6
Derby to beat Bolton at Evens
Doncaster to beat Bury at 11/10
Sheffield United to beat Gillingham at 11/10
£5 acca pays £73.50, more hope than expectation this week like, also got couple of quid on Lens first scorer at 10/1.

Haway! In for a penny in for a pound! Or in this case a tenner!

9 fold bets at a tenner ago? You're insane.

    Its called gambling mate.

I'm not interested in winning a few quid, a fiver here, a fiver there.

I usually only bet on the majors. Rarely lose. Best one was Bubba's first major, £600.

To be honest, this week I put 1 team on too many.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a gambler at all. But I love Rackem's idea of having a go at favourites.

I showed my youngest son this and what we are gonna do is have a £5 punt each on the full 7 or 8 teams each week, and if just one comes in, thats a golfing holiday somewhere sunny.

I gamble all the time mate but thanks for pointing it out. Paid for last seasons season ticket on winnings despite a very limited budget and tiny stakes, rolled it over and rolled it over on good value trebles and 4 folds. <ok>

    Oops sorry mate!

A few of the guys in the pub have apps on their phones and do dozens of tiny little bets every week. By sunday evening, after the last game, they might be £5, £15, £100 up, or the same down. They put so much into and are chuffed if they're just a few quid up on sunday night.

    I don't get that.

My son usually puts our Rackem bets on his phone before we play golf, but he's away for a few weeks. So I went into the bookies like a virgin in a whorehouse! Hadn't got a clue! Took me half an hour to put 2 bets on!

We go the whole hog, usually 7 games, and dont expect to win at those odds, but you never know...<laugh>

Nads and safc83 are the boys, especially nads, if they give a tip take it. Not bets are guaranteed but they seem to do very well

<ok> I'll keep an eye out for their tips.

I'm just getting into this regular gambling thing each week! I'm a real novice.

It's just something that me and the lad have a laugh about out on the course, checking the latest scores every couple of holes.

But if it did ever come in, Myrtle Beach, here we come!!

I won £95 quid back on a four team accy, so good start to the season. Today I've gone for quite an odd selection but it's what takes my fancy...

My treble is arsenal, Southampton and Liverpool. Fiver returns 35 pound.

I fancy Newcastle and Stoke today mate! Southampton were away in Europe a few days ago and we usually see teams struggle in the league after European games. Newcastle are getting to play them at the perfect time. Stoke are always strong and organised at home, Liverpool I suspect will take a while to get going and when they do won't be all that impressive anyways. Stoke to do them.

Aye I pick some dodge teams but I fancy liverpool to get stoke back for what they did on the last day of the season. Did Southampton pick there strongest team the other night tho? Don't rate the mags pal.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they did mate. Don't rate the mags myself fella and if they weren't playing Southampton after a European game, I'd have them down for a certain defeat. They always seem to play teams at the right time though, it gets frustrating :steam:

Nads is some kind of super gambler <laugh>. I've noticed you're **** hot too, but I've taken more of nad's tips that's all. I'm at the point with you two where if I have money spare I put on what ever you two say. <laugh>

You cracker jack! I hate giving tips, feel like giving people their money back if the bet doesn't come in. Far to soft at times! <laugh>

I know, that's why when I nick your tips I don't tell you. I sometimes change them a bit but generally it's your and Gonads overseas knowledge I look for.

Ok mate, fair play. Looks like Arsenal is knocking my bet from the off unless they can bang 3 second half goals in!
