    Hello fellow Mackem mates,

I write to you again after long time, i have reasoning for this.

For next match against Man Utd i have theoretic pathway for understanding victorious. Sunderland have hard match list, first Man City, no disgrace but lose, next Liverpool where get draw then final of three test is Man Utd, ofcourse we build each time and win, they say "three time lucky" and i believe this will happen. So then mates my predication for next match is Sunderland 2-1 Man Utd.

    Rooney 22
    Defoe 61
Kone 88 (bullet header from outside box)

Thank you to fellow Mackem mates. H away lads men!

He had me until I noticed he'd put Rooney down as a goal scorer. Little tinker.

So what are you guys thinking for the weekend? Win/Lose/Draw?

Will anybody on here be foaming if you get no points?

    Anybody expecting 3 points?

3 points. PVA should be able to handle Martial down the left, so long as Johnson isn't in front of him. Kone and O'Shea will take care of bidness with Rooney, with a little help from M'Villa and Kirchoff. It's the goofy Lingard who worries me. Think he's the type that could do get something improbable after 80 minutes of driving LVG to drink.

Feel confident we'll score twice, holding you to one. 2-1 final. There you have it. Done and dusted.

    I'm expecting 3 points :emoticon-0105-wink:

'United are 'United . . . . but not as we know it :emoticon-0145-shake

    Sunderland are Sunderland . . . . and don't we know it :steam: so anything's possible :emoticon-0100-smile

We'll be 'up for it' and 'United 'don't like it up em' . . . . and that's where we'll put it :emoticon-0148-yes:

    So yes, Terry, I'm pregnant . . . . erm, I mean expectant <cheers>

p.s. Yellow Tail Chardonnay, in case you're wondering :emoticon-0168-drink

I was confident of 3 points until your last three performances. The players seem to be playing their way and not LVG's way.

As has been said though, this isn't the Utd of old and the flip side to your good form is I'm expecting a poor result for you just around the corner. I'm hoping that it's against us. You definitely look better with Carrick in the team so not allowing him to much time is a must and like you have mentioned, Martial has went up a couple of gears in performances, he'll need to be watched very carefully, also.

I have a feeling this will be a 1-1 draw, the position we are in though, I'd be slightly, but only slightly, miffed, if we don't get the 3 points.

Martial plays on Man Utds left side, so PVA won't be marking him. It'll be Billy Jones :emoticon-0165-muscl

That's where Man Utd could potentially destroy us.

    Well I'm a dumb ass...
Yes, he's on the left, which means Yedlin, who has never provided defensive confidence anywhere he played.

It would make no odds anyhow, PVA couldn't stop Martial if his life depended on it.

Martial seems like a new player, doesn't he? Give PVA some credit tho, he's improved greatly. Having said that, I think there will be some goals in this game.

They all do mate, new found freedom and fluidity to them.

PVA has improved greatly, for sure.

Like I say, I'm looking forward to the game, I never thought I'd be saying that 3 weeks ago.

Won't be foaming as long as there is effort from the team. The least we can expect is full effort. If we play well and lose then so be it (city game prime example) but if we're ****e and lose I'll be foaming. If we're ****e and win... You'll be foaming I guess but I'll be delighted!!

I fancied us a bit until I watched Utd vs Chelsea where I thought they looked at least some way back to playing some good stuff again.

Mata and Martial will be the problems. Play Yedlin because at least he is quick enough to catch Martial once he's passed him, (akin to PVA's book of defending: My Pace Get's Me Out The **** Constantly).

2-1 to the lads. Defoe, Martial, Khazri in the 89th min <cheers><cheers>
