Feck me Im suprised quite a few of us havent called it a day by now. Never a dull moment supporting the lads.
Its a match none of us will ever forget and well always remember where we were and what we were doing while it was playing. Did anybody on here make the journey down there? I feel for you if you did.
****ing hell I thought it was only 6-0 not that it makes any difference. I did a good job of wiping that from my memory banks.
My old man and brother did. The old man was really unwell and had been for a while so they ended up leaving about 15 minutes before time. Can't say I blame them.
I have no idea either. There's always a point in each of the season where I've thought "we've got no chance this time" yet we still turn it around. This season this has already happened.
The Southampton result was a bad result to a good team. There was an element of fluke to it though. Villa on the other hand... The players had given up. The fans had turned (that was the day my mate was all over the rags and MotD for hurling abuse and being kicked out). Gus was just stood on the sidelines with his arms folded. If Southampton was a bad day at the office. Villa was the apocalypse.
