First of all, i've been in pub for most of the day. I have also been to two funerals in 9 days, so a bit boozy and emontional.... Just watching the One Love Manchester concert..... What a big **** YOU to the terrorists. I don't know who half of the peformers are....but 60,000 people have turned up to watch them. Artists from around the world have flow in to be part of it. Ariane Grande is only a young woman, who must be racked with guilt that 22 youngsters got ripped to pieces coming to watch her sing. So did the terrorist win???? Have people cowered at home like they wanted??? Have they ****, three times as many people turned up, watched by an audience of millions. You have failed terrorists, we will not be beaten, go **** yourselves, in the words of Trump, you are losers.
Not impressed with the advice from the Government. 'Run And Hide'. GTF. That's exactly what we shouldn't be doing.
although I agree with the sentiment, I'm wondering who they are raising money for. The NHS is covering their treatment.... it would be nice if the money was used on each hospital that the victims were in, buy them some equipment or summat.
With the greatest respect. the money is for many post treatment scenarios. A minimal amount of information has been given for most of the injured in the Manchester bombing and monies raised are to care for the currently unknown requirements. I for one donated in knowing the money would be used wisely.
Run, Hide, Tell. It's basically new advice because these ****s are just after maximum casualties. The police and armed forces have had completely new training. There is no hanging back now....no negotiating if they have hostages...... It's straight in for the kill, because every minute left hesitating means more deaths. Its a whole new ball game. An so much respect for the police, I saw them running in last night, into what, they did not know. To protect us the public. Its easy to slag them off at times, especially being a football fan, but in the grand scheme of things there are some bloody brave men and women out there.
That's a good post and I agree with it. But I think it's a whole new ball game for the public too. Obviously in certain situations ,then run. But in others isn't it better to stand? A **** came in endike with a chain saw and they stood up and kicked him to ****.
I think tonight is more of a pop concert but I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Noel organise something in the future.
I'd never heard of Ariana Grande until the terrible incident , what a beautiful lass tho , inside and out - can sing live too - well done to her for returning so soon
I know where you are coming from, but with respect the bloke in Endike wasnt wearing a suicide belt (fake or not), a week after 22 people had been blown up.
But in that case you'd be dead anyway, if it was real. Al ina split second innit. But now the public knows there's no remorse no. Bargaining as you said.
Lets just hope we are never in that position to make a split decision. Its hard to plan out a rational thought process/response to a situation when the people you are dealing with are so deranged and irrational.
