Apparently their record signing is £4.2m. Wonder what Osvaldo would go for at this point, if anything.

Just need to draw a line in the sand. I'd take a packet of monster munch at this stage for him. He's only ever one day away from trouble that guy, doesn't deserve the talent he was blessed with.

Hopefully £5m. I am glad he has hopefully found a place he feels happy. People rightly so have slagged him off for hitting Fonte, but some take it too far. How are we too know if he is simply just a twat or he has a mental health issue? It's a shame he never worked out here.

I'd swim across the ocean with Osvaldo on my back for 5m. I'm guessing he'd get punchy.

On his mental health, I agree; I was on board with allowing him back in January on a no-tolerance bid to revive his career, but that appears (probably for good reason) to have been ruled out by the club.

Wasted talent. Shame. I really think he ha everything needed from the neck down to be a top quality striker and in our league too. He just doesn't have it from the neck up. Whether they be him having anger issues, deeper mental issues or him just being a prat, we probably won't know, but there is no doubting his footballing ability.

Osvaldo grabbing headlines for controversy again.

He offered Estudiantes defender Leandro Desábato grass to eat and called him a donkey.
