Why would there be? Is there a problem with me thinking your view is stupid as well?

It's actually both. Some people produce the smell, and some people, not necessarily the same people, can smell it. All in the genes.

We could be the first truthful football message board if we could be bothered. You could say, for instance, that you don't particularly like Osvaldo, on the whole, that the Green Bay Packers aren't the ones to get you on the edge of your seat, or that Asparagus isn't your favourite vegetable. Each statement may have been more accurate to your friendship with the three objects in question, yet you would have only used a few more words, and been thoroughly more inciteful and interesting. You could then go on to give reasons. We are here because we want to read about opinions, but we also want to know why those opinions are held. Yet there seems to be only a few of us willing to put in the time to explain. No, you don't have to justify every time, but sometimes it's better if you do.

Let's be the first football forum to see things in various shades of grey [we'll work on the colour later] between black and white. We might even widen our attention spans in the process..

No wonder they won 5-0. Bobby's going to be knackered come the weekend.

Talking of asparagus (which you were on Feb 28th :), how can people eat mangoes when they smell of cat pee? I have to wrinkle my nose if I pass them in the fruit and veg aisle.

Odd, in my many years working with animals I have never smelt cat pee that reminded me of mangos. Love em.

Just shows how we may all view the world differently, sometimes without realising it. After all, we don't know if we even see colours the same way. Even in people who are not colour blind, there is no way of knowing if I see red in the same way as you as it is based on my brain's interpretation of what I see.

Well, talking of asparagus again, what about people who can't stand coriander seed or ground because, to them, it smells of soap..? The leaves are another matter entirely.
