What a ****e result. Despite the crap ref we should have got 3 points today.I hate to say it but maybe ainsworth is on borrowed time.
We are going to have a problem next week with Doncaster losing 4-2 today they will be desperate for a win
To me, this shows how much we need Hayes, not for his goals (or lack of) but his link up play and professionalism. He is a leader in the opposition half which is what we need. Anyway, shocking result which we need to put behind us. I would also like to see Harriman back in midfield (I assume he is playing right back) he scored some important goals for us early last season.
Plus onien and bean instead of Rowe and gape. Will the whole squad be fit at the same time, I very much doubt it.
Agree totally on hayes - I can never remember one player making so much of a difference to the team but for the last 2 years whenever hes not there we have looked disjointed and lost upfront. As for harriman id rather he didnt play at all at the moment - hes looked poor all season and I cant work out how hes keeping jombati out of the team! Back on the wing might give harriman a bit more freedom and get the best out of him, but it just doesnt seem like it. Incidentally Ive got a good feeling about weston - came on and actually added a spark despite not really being fit. Red card very harsh - second yellow was definatly correct but the first one im not convinced was a foul! I will mention the ref again - generally not great but one big decision overshone them all, and if we went 1-0 up after 15 minutes (a 15 minutes where we were the dominant side) then we could be discussing a different result. Still ncant be used as an excuse and not good enough again
Plusses started well and totally dominated early doors the disallowed goal took the wind out of our sails Weston looked good O'Nien on the bench and our very own BFG taking part in the warm up Minuses too many to mention Gaz was right the refs need to be professional and accountable
