That wasn't my point. You're making out Chelsea bought trophies, which of course is true to an extent, but that Arsenal's were 'earned' when the club has never been too shy to spend a few quid. Must be close to £90 for Sanchez and Ozil combined.

The point though is how the money came about. Arsenal earned the right to spend big on Ozil. As mentioned Abramovich was close to buying Spurs. Chelsea's 'success' is arbitrary. It could have just as easily have been Spurs who won that lottery payout. Before Roman, Chelsea were nowhere near challenging, their success is purely down the personal wealth that he pumped into the club.

 

The good thing is you are not in the least bitter about it, and never use it as an excuse for your own club's failings.
