Let's have a thread for pets. Do you have any pets, are you a dog man, cat, goldfish, hamster? I'm a huge animal lover and would love to be rich enough to have a nice big house in the country with lots of dogs. Post a pic of your pet. This is Charlie (cat) and Pickle (dog).
My avatar is my cat. He's an enormous black cat and daft as a brush. I used to have two African Clawed Frogs. I really like amphibians and things like that but a lot of them aren't suitable for keeping as pets so you have to be careful. Intend to move house next summer, at which point I'm planning on getting two axolotls.
Not really a pet man but we have 3 goldfish called.... Little Little Billy (Little Billy died about 3 months ago so a replacement was needed) Little Mr Rotweiler (Mr Rotweiler died the same time as Little Billy) Big Bad Betty (managed to survive the catastrophic event)
Can somebody please tell me why dog lovers just assume that everyone else loves their dogs, they let them run up and jump up at people and say"don't worry he's only playing" Meanwhile some of us are petrified . I for one can't stand the stinking things, I could quite easily put them all down but I do believe that the owners are to blame for the problems they cause, especially on the beach.
Can somebody please explain to me why that ****ing cat over the road feels the need to **** on my patio? The air rifle is cocked & loaded & I'll shoot the **** next time I catch it.
You could quite easily put them all down? I don't think it'd be that easy to be fair, I reckon you'd get to the first one before having your head kicked clean off your shoulders.
These are our 4: (From left to right) - Alfie (Westie/Yorkie cross), Poppy (Westie), Penny (Sprocker spaniel) and Ozzy (Lhasa Apso/Poodle cross) Spaniel is impossible to tire out! She come out running with me (well, I run, she just walks quickly alongside looking at me as if to say "Come on Dad, get a move on") Love them. Got a 5 foot fish tank too in the sitting room which is the dogs whatsits! Got cold water fish in it (koi, common carp, a Rudd and a tropical catfish who we forgot about when we took the heaters out cos he hides! He's surviving well though!)
You could maybe try a cat deterrent before resorting to shooting someone's pet in the ****ing head. Just a thought like.
My daughter and her lad have a cavishon Cross between beshon frees and a King Charles He's a beauty Our family have never had pets until my daughter got him in 2011 Although they live a few miles away we see him and walk him regularly. MY WIFE ADORES HIM.
I was expecting an axolotl to be a cat, got a surprise when I googled it. I think it'd give me nightmares but each to their own haha.
You have to go round mate and p!ss on your own patio. The scent should put cats off. I would probably recommend doing this in the dark. For the record we have 2 cats and a guide dog.
Nee more pets at the mo. A rumbunctious 2 year old is enough for me right now. I'm not ready for the emotional stress of looking after ( and losing) another dog. I need to change me Avatar though.
You think I haven't tried? Next thing I'm gonna try before picking up a weapon is a bowl of milk mixed with anti freeze.
There's one cat that comes in my garden, I would love to have perched waiting for a one wood right through the skull, but I know, if I ever had the opportunity, the humane side of me would prevail. I know the owner, across the street, I might just go and curl a stiff log out on his door step, see how he ****ing likes it.
