    The Metro -

"Chelsea Dominate PFA's Premier League Team Of The Year"

As Tom Robinson said - "It's there in the papers, it must be the truth."

Did i fall asleep and wake up in June? Who won the league? Who won the cup?

In any event, Toby and Jan should be in there. Cahill and Luiz <laugh>

  3. Said the same on Matchday thread. Certainly Toby over Cahill. :emoticon-0148-yes:

For some reason the BBC could not make 4 > 4, no matter how hard they tried.

    Thoughts?

IMO the entire defence should be the Spurs back 4. How, at the very least, Alderwiereld hasn't made it, I have no idea.

Has there ever been an official antithesis of the PFA Team of the Year? A Razzies Team of the Year. Even Football Manager had a season roundup which named the two worst signings of the season (well..... FM2010 did which is my version as I refuse to upgrade as Eastbourne Borough got relegated out of the conference that season and managing them in the South is too much like hard work). Come on the PFA lets have your team of the damned as well! Name and shame those donkeys of the Premiership.

It's weird, although Danny is better than Alonso, I'd have had Alonso in on the basis of Danny missing about 8 or 9 games now.

Though how in the **** Luiz & Cahill got in over Toby & Jan (especially Jan this season) I have no idea.

Also, De Gea? Really?! Heaton or Foster should be there, they've been quality for their clubs.

Sanchez in fairness has kept Woolwich as competitive as they have, Mane's been an excellent signing for Pool but I'd say Sanchez should've pipped him there.

I didn't realise there were posts on other articles, otherwise I wouldn't have posted this. Sorry if everyone has already discussed this to death elsewhere!

Well, that didn't work exactly how I thought it would. All in one place now, though.
    Er, carry on!

I think either Spurf or PNP might know. I'm just the eye candy of the mod team <ok>

The trouble is that they're still ordered by date so if the thread is started after the other posts it messes with the order and makes it look messy imo.

Anyway, Cahill and De Gea aren't great choices and personally I'd have Silva or De Bruyne above Mane, Sanchez above Lukaku also. Still a pretty good team though and 5 English lads in the team, which is good :)

Ridiculous that Alderweireld has been excluded, Mane has been good but I would have had Sanchez in ahead of him, but there is always a token Mouser thrown in to appease the masses.

As said on another thread, I firmly believe that Jan has had a better season than Toby. The latter has been immense but the former is really thriving in the new '3' system and has developed an almost telepathic understanding with both Rose and Davies.
