I missed our first play off final - I never even considered the possibility that we'd make the playoffs (at the start of the season we were tipped to go down) and, as it turned out, we set off for Canada immediately after the home game against Watford. I watched the final in my hotel room whilst receiving emotional texts from the rest of the family who were at Wembley. A great day nonetheless.
Cock flap. I'm on holiday for the final. Will have to advise the Mrs tonight that there may be a chance I'll miss the start of the hols.
Lets hope its 10% then swftiger because dosnt there ground hold 34000 in which case we would get around 3400
I'd like to bet that season ticket holders who have signed up for the new scam (correction scheme!!!) get the first shout.
If we get to the final a 5pm kick-off and have extra time it makes the last direct train to Hull at 8.15 a bit tight or will they put on a later train?
Fortunately I live in Essex but I recall having to leave evening games in London early as I live on a branch line and life stops in the sticks after 9.
Will you be arranging a Darling Harbour function for a Wembley match similar to the one you organized for the FA Cup Final?
Absolutely! In fact we've got an invite up at the moment for the Bolton game, although not anticipating huge numbers for that. Hopefully we can get a good turn out for the Play Off Semi on the Saturday night and then the Final if/when we make it.
The 10% (up to 2,500) rule is actually a Premier League one, but it's roughly mirrored in the Championship anyway. We'll get the standard 2,700 away allocation at Derby and they'll get our standard away allocation of 2,400 (assuming it's them we end up playing, which seems likely).
