    Top top news, can't argue with any of those decissions. Clint and Ale to be kept and up to Henry if he'll take up his contratual option (which he with 99% will), I don't mind any of that.

    And this goes without saying:
    "In addition, loanees Mauricio Isla, Niko Kranjcar, Eduardo Vargas and Mauro Zarate have all returned to their parent clubs."

    It's been a lot of posing by Barton lately, trying to put himself in a positive light. I'm not buying it! Correct decision by a mile imo.

    It's a calculated risk. If he's on £1k a week and they think they can get 15-20 games out of him at the level he's been at in the past then it's worth taking. Presumably he's on more than that but the released list suggests there's not much room for sentiment.
