It's £1.8 million, plus £2million season for 3 seasons, plus £1.8million if he extends and 375k if they get into CL group stages. So it's £10million ish, and he ain't worth that.
Fair play to Monty he has a point Podolski wouldve been a quality signing. He can also play on the left aswell. Unfortunatley I think hed have only gone to a Champions league club.

I was saying we should go for Podolski in Jan, I knew it would be ambitious but thought we should have a go. My amusement here is there are many many players going to be transferred who would improve us, probably hundreds, are we going to have threads about that too? That's what tickled me.
I think he most certainly would be worth that. He is a top level player mistreated at Arsenal. He should have gone back to Germany in my opinion. Probably to a Schalke or Dortmund!
