I used to have Player, Wats. But then when all the league games became streamed in the last couple of years I got rid of it. I don't want to use your account mate, that wouldn't be fair. I think there'll be a stream somewhere. If not, no harm. Its only a friendly
10-14th I think, oh how nice not to be fighting against relegation and hopefully seeing green shoots with one or two of our signings
I get the impression this season is all about convincing the FL we can come in under FFP and avoiding the previous fine. (While building a younger team and obviously not going down any further)
With Tooting on this our season is all about saving money in an attempt to reduce the fines … where's Tony? not heard much from him lately
What I want for next season is solid stability. Winning most of our home games, some away. Beating a few teams in cup competitio No great scares....No real pressure on Ramsey because we can see where he is going...and next spring we make a slight attempt towards playoffs....May not make it....but we were nearly there...the start of a new beginning of getting OUR team back A strong season with Ramsey still there at the end is what I want please....
Unfortunately Beth, i feel we need an immediate return otherwise we will lose the promising players we have signed to Prem clubs next term. If we are a mid table team this year, we will find it very difficult to get out of the league the year after as we won't look as an appealing club to sign for.
Difficult to predict until the start of Sept once our (and everyone elses) squads have been finalised, but think we should win more than we lose, narrowly avoiding play-offs (probably on goal difference as there doesn't seem to be an abundamce of goalscorers once Charlie goes)
I would love to get straight back up. I would more than anything...But I feel that the players signed are here for two seasons.... I think the idea is that this time we go up and stay up. And these young players are the ones that are going to grow into the task I hope I am right ...but you may well be right elino, we miss out this year...and there is no impetus....or.....Like Middlesboro this year...the money is on them, they are attracting the hype...lets seee what they can do
If we see Green shoot with a couple of new signings it will be our eleventh shot in a penalty shootout in the cup. Now that will be nerve-racking!
These guys have Brentford finishing above us. Really hope that does not happen! http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/winner
Brentford are 4/6 with Sky to finish above us. We are 11/10 to finish above them. So yes, but you can't automatically assume that from the Champions odds. I think. I'm not a very good gambler. I think the broad consensus has us top half, lowest of the 3 relegated clubs and miles behind Boro and Derby.
I really thought we might get a couple of Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal youngsters in on loan for the defence. Another Kyle Walker circa 2010 would be ideal.
