Prediction games? Answers needed please.

Hi all.

Is that time of the year again where I usually set up prediction games ready for the season. I do these games for you guys, not for myself. Therefore, I would prefer to make these games as appealing to you as possible. So for those that are interested in taking part, here are some questions to get YOUR preferences on any prediction games. Im happy to do what the majority of you prefer.

Also, the prediction games are open to anyone from all clubs, not just gasheads, but I appreciate not all games will appeal to non gasheads, but they are welcome nonetheless. So these questions are open to all who wish to be involved in playing them. Thanks


The attendance game: This is usually pretty popular so if there is the usual interest then im happy to do that game again.
1) In past seasons we have had 1 thread per each game. Last season it was 1 thread per block of 4 games.
Do you prefer:
A) Go back to predicting attendances 1 game at a time.
B) Keep it in blocks or 4 again.
C) Do it monthly basis, so all games in August on 1 thread etc.
D) Other: State your preferance if not above.

2) In previous seasons we have had predicting the Rovers fans ONLY for home/away games, so official attendance minus the opposition amount of fans. Last season we had just the overall attendance only.
Do you perfer:
A) Go back to Rovers fans only.
B) Keep it to the overall attendance again.
C) Do both in 1 thread and get points seperately for A & B.
D) Other: State your preference if not above.

3) New idea which can be added within the attendance game. Guess the minute the 1st goal is score in the game (doesnt matter whoch team scores it). Whoever is the closest gets points. Obviously no points awarded to anyone if it ends 0-0.
Do you prefer:
A) Not to bother with this game.
B) Combine it within the attendance game.
C) Make this game in a seperate thread.



The Mark Lawrenson game: Personally I like this game but only around 10 people played it in the end.
1) Im happy to do it again though if there is still interest.
Do you prefer:
A) Not to bother with this game.
B) Keep this game how it is.

2) New idea keeping the same set up as the Lawro game but predicting League 2 games instead of Prem games.
Do you prefer:
A) Not to bother with this game.
B) Try this game.

If the majority prefer to play both games then I think they will be easier if done in seperate threads.



Other prediction games:
1) League cup and FA Cup prediction games usually happen too. We could try JPT as well. Maybe even the Champions League too?
Do you prefer:
A) Not to bother with any.
B) Try them all.
C) Would try some but not all: State the which games you would play.

Overall attendance for the Rovers games is fine as far as I'm concerned.

I used to like the League 2 prediction game where you picked six games and predicted home win, away win or draw.

But I'm happy to go along with any of these.

Thanks for putting in the time for these too. It's much appreciated.

However some questions havent been answered. Can you put an answer down for all 6 questions.

smhbcfc, you are free to join in the attendance game if you wish. Non of the games are gasheads only It will be embarrassing though of you win the attendance game, beating us at predicting our own attendances
