I agree TSS. He looks like he can be a good player, however from what I have seen, I now understand why he was not considered earlier when Maya came in and we all thought it would be Gardos. He couldn't have a better coach working with him to make him a good CB though.

Diego Costa loses his appeal, given 3 game ban. Should have been given an extra game for a stupid appeal.

Chelsea had less problems with injuries and suspensions than any other team this season, they had their first eleven available pretty much all the time. If their two best midfielders (Matić, Fab) had been absent as much as, for example, our two midfielders (Morgan, Vic), I strongly doubt Chelsea would be sitting so comfortably on top of the league table.

There comes a point where a tedious joke tips over into classic status, and then it can never die. Jim Magilton and Ipswich may be just such a case.

On another front, I scoured the net for news of Costa's stamp, and frankly it's all been poor. So I produced one of my own:

I think it looks quite authentic.

As expected Ben Arfa cannot play for Nice as he has already played for 2 clubs this season. Nice plan to sue.

That is, quite frankly, awesome TSS.

And what's all this about Jim Magilton?

No chance - as long as news is reported late or for the third or fourth time, Jim Magilton will be there for us.

Cheers Chilco. I did have a real go at it. As for Jim Magilton. One particular poster had the temerity to suggest that Ipswich was parting company with him. As if...

Hull's Elmohamedy is one of my least favourite players in the Premier League.

How after punching the ball into the net and having his goal disallowed can he continue to protest his innocence, knowing full well he just did it and it'll definitely be on the cameras!

Good cross by Gaston Ramirez though

Stunning, simply stunning. Hull's Gaston Ramirez passes the ball straight to the visitors in midfield. Jack Colback feeds Sammy Ameobi on the left and he brilliantly drills the ball home from 25 yards. Goalkeeper Allan McGregor has no chance. Real trouble for Steve Bruce.

I was thinking this: you take Matic, Costa and Fabregas out and you have a good team but one that will not always win. Tottenham have also been really lucky with injuries, if they lost Kane or Eriksen they may find things harder.

What is going on with Hull, I thought that they would be fine but they really are lacking fire power.

Wonder what Liverpool would do if Mignolet got injured with Jones also out.

For the first time ever, I'm actually hoping to hear news of Nolan scoring from a Carroll knock down. An nice smash and gran 1-0 West Ham win in the second half would be lovely.

That said, the current 0-0 draw would be very nice too.
