Skyrim was a superb game but sadly when I did the beta test for Elder Scrolls On Line I was totally underwhelmed so didn't buy it. Was tempted last year though when Game were putting out out for £10 for the PC version . Have to say it's now my favourite game of all time and I spend far too much time on it. All the beta failures have been resolved and you don't need a high spec PC - built mine with ,2nd hand eBay bits for just over £100. Loved fallout 3 &. New Vegas as well though, might try Fallout 4 but not sure if my PC is up to spec
Elder Scrolls online was terrible - I got it for the Xbox One and played it for an hour - never been back out the box since. Skyrim Remastered is well worth getting if you haven't already.
I imagine it's the same with all online game, loads of dicks taking advantage glitches and weak points in the game making them impossible to play against. Fifa is so bad for it.
Yeah footy games are a nightmare for me online, feels like a big steaming pile of bullshit. I think ESO is one where you go about doing your own thing and can ignore other players unless you want to team up for something and PVP is kept separate.
dead right, it WAS terrible but its largely been sorted out... well it has on the PC but can't speak for XB or PS. You can run 8 characters for one "game purchase" and so play as tank/nightblade/healer etc.etc. Join up to 4 guilds and take part in 4 man group dungeons and 12 man trials, PVP, public dungeons, general delves, maelstrom Arenas, PVP arenas. It's conctantly being "tuned" mind so the whole thing is very dynamic. I can't recommend it enough, and for me is a massive improvement on WOW.
that's one of the attractions, you can be as social (or "anti-social") as you want. In theory all of the 4 man dungeon at normal and vet levels can be done by 1 person (though you have to be bloody good...and I'm not) but there's an in game dungeon finder where you can join 3 other unknown payers to complete a dungeon. There are a lot of "mature" guilds where we all realise there's life outside the game so if you have to drop out of a group 'cos the bairn won't go to sleep or you want a time out to grab a beer its fine
Ha snap. Was about to post similar. Ive read the whole thread and havnt understood a word. I think we maybe missing out mate.
I know for certain I'm not missing out. Doesn't interest me in the slightest! I lost interest after I started losing ping pong on the tv 40 odd years ago My lads play all these games. I guess it's just a generation thing!
They now making movies about games and games about movies! How the **** are you supposed to tell the difference? Now she's watching The Day After Tomorrow while I'm on here!
Is Morrowmind an extension for ESO or a separate entity altogether? The reason I like open world is the freedom to roam at your own pace, any deviation from that and I start spitting my dummy out.
