With Monk gone, there is a God, it's time to turn our attentions to a new manager/coach. Based on the names at the top of the betting list, looks like, at this stage that we'll be doing a much needed upgrade to a higher level of manager Leeds need and deserve. Ranieri, if appointed would be a colossus upgrade, and would certainly give Leeds fans reason to forget that last one we had, what's his face, and would certainly bring the ringing of bells, the blast of Trumpets and the beating of drums style excitement to ER and the fans, Ranieri would be the Golden Buzzer of appointments. I'd like to think he'll come out of retirement to manage Leeds, I for one hope he does, so do a few other Leeds fans. Ranieri getting us promoted remains to be seen though. https://thisisfutbol.com/2017/05/blogs/championship/leeds-fans-in-favour-of-ranieri-appointment/
I certainly hope he doesn't, as much as Monk was fortunate last season to a degree, Ranieri was even more so, yes he has a PL title under his belt but I don't rate him even slightly.
Ranieri? Experience of Championship? No. Experience of 2nd rate players? No. Any other questions worth asking? No.
made me laugh WJ would be happy with Evans or Strachan because they are both Scottish and you don't rate Ranieri not because you don't like Leicester is it
Not just me, fans are split http://www.shoot.co.uk/leeds-fans-s...inks-claudio-ranieri-with-managerial-vacancy/
A few of the Leicester side that he guided to PL champions were 2nd rate, Morgan and Huth to name but two It's a yes from me
Whatever people think of Ranieri, or whoever your personal choice may be, seems at moment the manager's job is becoming a 2 horse race, and Ranieri seems to be gathering speed and ground fast. Bringing PL experience to ER isn't a bad thing, actually it's something we need to create the winning mentality and increase the hunger for promotion, not that hunger needs increasing cos we're absolutely famished for promotion. We also need someone who knows how to get our team over the final hurdles and across the finishing line, both Karanka and Ranieri know how to do that. Should Ranieri not take or get the job, then I'd be happy with Karanka, but both need to know we need to increase our attacking flair. Whichever way things pan out, we need someone with bite, venom and the eye of the Tiger (sorry Rocky) and has a "all or nothing attitude:. We can say 7th was an achievement, we can also say 7th was a fail after being in top 6; whether we finish 7th or 21st, we'll still be playing in championship the following season from square one, from scratch and rebuilding again......
That's what I was suggesting. We pay what we can afford, hence first class players are few & far between. If Millwall pooled all their wages together, they might be able to afford one second rate player ...... if he's an amateur!
Glad you got home OK on Thursday Brissy - speed-racer-on-mobility-scooter-caught-on-camera-20170525-gwczis.html
Yea, I saw that. Bloody idiot. Don't know what he thought he was doing. Coronation Drive is a really busy road. Actually, Eric, he came turd in his heat!!
experience of 2nd rate players ????? what about the whole of the leicester team except vardy but even vardy came from 2nd rate team to join leicester
Tale a look at what they paid for their team. They were not bought as second rate, unlike our players.
