I thought refs were meant to give the benefit of any doubt to attacking teams re offsides? Soton just scored an onside goal, which was disallowed. It was level at worst - never offside.
I know Leicester ain't popular on here due to a couple of their wum idiots on our boards but their performances in yhe league are truely appalling. I know they were unlikely to come in the top 6 but to be just 5 points off relegation after 22 matches says everything about how bad their season has been
They didn't really replace Kante, then focused on the Champions League, which saw their league form suffer. The African Nations has cost them recently, too. Can't see them going down though, so I doubt they'll be that bothered this season. Next, though? Ranieri will need to sort it out.
At the risk of tootling my own horn, I said this would happen well over a year ago: their squad would be unable to compete on two fronts, and more often on not that means their league form will plummet - as evidenced time and time again over recent seasons, with Everton and Newcastle being obvious examples where they'd qualify for the Europa league one season then find themselves battling relegation the next. Considering how there's times where clubs can't handle extended runs in the domestic cups without their league form faltering, with Wigan being the most obvious example of this in recent seasons, it's no surprise to see European football become taxing to the clubs who qualify for it once in a blue moon as qualifying for European football requires the club to adjust their budget to improve their squads in a way that years of mid-table football doesn't.
Burnley and Leicester should just not travel to away games...give away the points and save on the travel costs
You knew the ref would even that up if he got the chance. He ducked into it so it was harsh, but why even give yourself any chance to give the penalty away in the last minute
Arsenal cheat their way to a win. Offside for the penalty, while a dismissed Wenger refused to leave. Typical.
