I'd take him, even at 34 the lad has quality and would certainly improve our squad. IMO this is the class of player we should be looking at, not the Danny Grahams and his like.
I wished that Kylie Minogue would come into my room last night dressed the same as in the Agent Provocateur ad, that didn't ****ing happen either.
That's because i was dreaming of her first...plus her sister danni. Kinky Kylie and dirty Danni. Now there's wishful thinking.
Seriously I don't think some of the people posting on here realise how good this guy is. Absolute heartbeat of a team. By far arsenals best player last weekend. If there's a chance in Hell of him coming to a team like us we should be ****ing ecstatic! Stick him on the left wing?!? Too old?? No better than Zenden(he is better and even if he weren't, Zenden was great for us!)???! I despair, I really do.
No brainer 4 me he moves the ball quickly runs at people can pick a pass score a goal hes full of energy would fit well into a 4 2 3 1 formation, maybe try use our loan to get him
I honestly don't think he will come to us but I'd buy him, if we can't afford then obviously a loan would do.
I know who he is and what he has done, but now is to old? we would be fools to go for himget some young blood in the team its crying out for pace.
I don't disagree marra.... But a footballing brain wins over pace every day of the week for me. If we could get a playmaker and some pace then even better.
T Rosicky is a class act on his day, he's somebody Borrusia Dortmund could do with urgently, I think he'd be a good acquisition for them if he's available. Works well in an Arsenal side full of pace but not sure how that would translate to Sunderland's team, he'd probably be a good free for 18 months or so. Wrong way to be investing money in this day and age if I'm being brutally honest though.
a head over heart opinion ,i agree he needs a better platform than what we have at this moment in time
Wouldn't say Dortmund are any better than you lot currently mind! Intelligent player who'd no doubt improve you but it doesn't send the right message out IMO, it's a bit 'Big Sam at Bolton' if you like.
You talk a lot of sense there Terry, he aint the way forward. Got to be up and coming lads can improve us.
