I'd argue that Brown is the best full back in the world at the moment

Can't argue with any of the above.

It was interesting to read in the papers today that a "senior" England player not only distanced himself from Robshaw's decision not to go for the sticks against Wales, but also stated that in his belief Andy Farrell was "actually in charge" ......

Doesn't surprise me as, whilst Lancaster has always struck me as being a decent bloke, I've often wondered if he was "strong" enough....

Australia showed last night why we Welsh were fearing that we may have won the battle last week, but could end up losing the war if you had risen to the occasion and beaten the Wallabies.....

Absolutely, Brown is probably our only true world-class player. I really felt sorry for him last night, he couldn't have given any more...

Launchbury was your stand out player last night. Look again at Brown's performance - committed yes; error free - far from it. Best full back in the World right now? Sorry, no chance. <cheers>

A big fan of anything, if it's suddenly replaced by the egg chasing.

My comment was based on the last 6-12-18 months.
    He's been a revelation.
England's passing was well behind the gain line last night resulting in large portions of the game being played in England's half. Pitch condensed and no full back could have made a difference in that situation.

But you did say "at the moment"
Just in this Country, some would argue that Hogg is better. Others that Halfpenny is better.

    Fair enough
That's the great thing about sport, we all have our own opinions. Personally I'd take Kearney over Halfpenny every day of the week. With Sextons kicking, I believe Kearney is a much better 'all rounder'. Given the choice, I'd also take Brown ahead of Kearney every day of the week. Only my opinion.

I think last night Brown was spending too much time fire-fighting, we were being regularly pulled apart. He was let down by others around him...

After last night's disappointment I'm a fully fledged Wales fan for the duration of the tournament (I am entitled - my mum was from Merthyr). On my way to the Olympic stadium to watch the Ireland game now. Not wishing Ireland any ill, but I've backed Italy with a 21 point start.

I know nothing about the sport Col
I can say however that the only day is Beziers it was rocking and the sport bars are rammed
My point is how England has fallen for the hype yet again and possibly ruined another sport?

High expectations = High Pressire in my book ... Cultural thing

Still on my way back to Blighty as I tap for the winter months so I fully expect to face the post morterm by the new office experts in the morning

Game still looks like chaos to me

Italy have looked really poor so far. Ireland will coast pass them and should go all the way to the semis.

Amazingly, amongst the mayhem, it's actually an extremely disciplined game...

I have just spent nearly 8 hours on a flight from Heathrow to Toronto sitting next to 2 Canadians who had been over to catch a few games. One was wearing an Aussie shirt and one a Welsh shirt. Hellish.

Didn't see the first half but at 10-6 down the Italians are still in it, although, as often happens against Italy, I expect Ireland to pull away decisively in last quarter...

    Italy considerably the better team
    Ireland huffing and puffing
Still expect a tight 10pts win
