Strong reports from Germany linking us to Danish 20 year old central midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from Bayern Munich. The fee is thought to be £11m

    http://m.dw.com/en/bayern-munich-midfielder-pierre-emile-hojbjerg-confirms-club-exit/a-19279446

    Translate -

In mid-May said Højbjerg agent , Soren Lerby , to tv3sport.dk that the midfielder will not be in Bavaria and actively looking for a new club . The club is now found , writes the German sports media Kicker. 20 -year-old Pierre - Emile Højbjerg is in fact on the way to Southampton in the English Premier League
Opposite DR confirms Søren Lerby that there are negotiations , but the change is not yet in place :
    - We know more tonight or tomorrow morning , says Søren Lerby DR .

Kicker writes that the price of the Dane is about £11m which will make Højbjerg to the most expensive Danish player ever .

    Good work SH.

Would be very, very, very happy to get this one across the line. Not sure what it would say about Clasie's future prospects with us though. Still, we get PEH and we'll be very well stocked in midfield going into the season.

That's him. He scored 2 goals in 2006.

I am already thinking of him as Oddjob...no chance of really pronouncing his name. :)

I hope Pierre-Emile is more Ekelund than Madsen for us though :)

Looks very calm and tidy, I like that. Wouldn't of thought he was 20 watching that tbh. Obviously been raised to play the right way at Bayern, should easily slot into the team here if that's the case.

Here is him looking sad. I don't know why, they won this game 2-0.

    Oh, here is a translation.

REP: Are we ready? Pierre, you have to briefly explain the tears down your face
PEH: Yeah, it's delightful.. We deserve it, we've worked extremely hard, and I'm clapped-out.
REP: Regarding today's performance, what are you most proud of?
PEH: We are real men. We stand united, we have the Danish culture in our blood.. We fight, we have teamspirit spirit, and we have the entire stadium cheering for us.
REP: So why exactly are you being this emotional?
PEH: I'm beyond my own limits, the fact that we win on this stage..
REP: Second half looked 45 minutes of survival, was it the same palying on the pitch?
PEH: Yeah, it was rough, man. They are organized, and they play well, and.. They made the game hard for us, and they have some great individual players, but so do we.. Holy ****
REP: What does it mean to you that one of your long time friends Yussuf Poulsen (scoring the first goal) has such a major impact on the outcome of the game?
PEH: Yeah, it's just very touching.. Yeah.. Yeah..
