Yes sorry he is (just- with a September birthday). Clearly a case of height making a difference. The disadvantage to lads not making a step up to 1st team is they are not being challenged enough for their needs. So a loan is better if they have no chance of getting called up as is the case for Saints attacking positions. Koeman seems less confident of giving attacking teenage U21s a chance to shine and show what they an do in the premier league than he does in other positions bar keeper of course. Perhaps that will change next season if Saints get European football? If nothing else he may then use the domestic cups to develop more home grown talent. Assuming he's still around of course.
Strikers and wingers or even those that can play anywhere across the top or an attacking no 10. Isgrove, Rowe, Sims (wingers) Seagar (striker/no 10) Gallagher (striker) Sinclair, McQueen (winger/striker/No 10)
Mcqueen and Isgrove have come on as a subs. What is your opinion on them? Sims and Seager I think will step up soon. Rowe for me anyways is still very raw. Gallagher is getting over a family members death and a injury. Hopefully he will get his chance when back.
Just read the discussion on Jake Sinclair. Can see him going soon; know he went to Hibernian on loan, but seen him a few weeks ago in Bath on a mates birthday night out sort of thing. Seemed a nice guy, but maybe not a JWP ultra-professional type, hence the untapped potential.
