Just been reading about someone who has done some work round Jay Rods house and has said he should be running again in two weeks, so atm is seems the op went well.
If you look at the home crowd after Lallana's second goal there are some people applauding and I've seen the same thing after some of Matty's wonder goals. I have to say they are more sporting than me because I could never applaud an opposition goal no matter how good it was. It's not that I can't appreciate a skillful finish and I might reluctantly mumble something to that effect under my breath but I would be too pissed about us conceding a goal to actually applaud it.
Oh yep! The ****s will be after Doris, the tea lady next. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CUq3pnKWIAAU2AJ.jpg
http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...-details-of-southampton-transfer-are-made-pub Twente's Chairman has resigned after details of Dusan's transfer to Saints becomes public knowledge. Seems there was some kind of agreement involving third party ownership which is forbidden. Twente sold part rights to Dusan and other players, but also gave the buying company some control over transfer policy.
http://www.insideworldfootball.com/...d-barca-lead-europe-saints-top-premier-league Saints top the league for development of players in the EPL. We are behind three clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, United) overall for development, but this difference reflects our development of home grown players who stay here rather than foreign imports who return home.
The club Forster joined at the age of 8 and played for until he was signed by Newcastle at 15, are to receive £100,000 from the deal that took him from Celtic to Saints. That's going to make one hell of a difference to a club that small. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-34922350
Some interesting tidbits in that especially the clause about Sportings rivals . If its true then Cedric really was a steal for €5.5m. Despite a bit of inconsistency defensively and his crippling addiction to head bandages he is a gifted player and with some more defensive discipline could be amongst the best Fullback/Wing backs in the BPL
This was reported a few weeks back. It's good that the club get that money, but as mentioned at the time, it is a shame that not many know this can happen and they need to apply within a certain time frame.
Totally agree with that sentiment FLT, and we should get totally behind him as well as all the other lads. However, saying he "is going to be the business for us" is probably just as much an over-reaction to a very small sample size of performances as those doubting him. I'll grant you it's far better to be positive than negative, but being pragmatic, the truth is there's not enough evidence to support either stance at this stage. If you said it as a belief rather than a statement of fact (apologies for pedantry), then I'd be 100% with you.
