Papa Waigo had easily the best goal celebration I've ever seen.

Didn't we all. There was something about him. His name, his looks, the day he introduced himself to the St Mary's crowd by doing some tricks in his suit shirt and trousers. The fact that we knew he had ability, the fact that he was sometimes too fast for linesmen to make the right call for offside, and sometimes too fast for his teammates, so that he actually was offside. The game against Norwich where he picked the kid up smiling and carried him to the steward. The fact that he was so important to the JPT run, scoring crucial goals. The fact that he wore a t-shirt at the end of the JPT as a tribute to an illustrious ancestor of his. The fact that he loved playing for Saints so much that he left some of his gear behind when he left the club, just so that he was leaving a link. The fact that he had a song written about him.

And that goal celebration is just about the best there is... So distinctive, so Papa Waigo.

I love the bit with Deano carrying the trophy down the steps on his own, just ahead of the team... Love that man.

Yep, Deano will always be special too. Never saw that bit before and thoroughly enjoyed it.

There's a video interview with JayRod, from early last season [I think] which is hi-jacked by Kelvin singing super, super, super Kelvin Davis, while peaking through an ajar door. Then he opens a window and makes other noises at JR.

JayRod and the interviewer collapse into giggles. Tbf, it is quite funny. :p
