A handy photographic tool or the evil spawn of the devil?

I personally hate them.

got twatted in the face by some Italian muppet in Milan as he walked out of the Armani store and they are a real menace to society IMHO.

What happened to 'hey mate can you please take a pic of me and the missus'.. or just holding out your arm.

I also think they are a thief's dream as the phone owner is effectively dangling his £600 Iphone on the end of a rod like a bit of bait for a passing crook.

Just my view though guys and at the end of the day.. each to their own.

 

Hate them. I don't get the whole selfie thing anyway, some of my mates do it even if I offer to take a picture for them. Why, I'm quite a good shot?

Selfie sticks is a whole new level of twattishness. The worst use of them I saw was about 20 couples with selfie sticks in front of that church in Prague with the clock. You could hardly walk through the square for all the burks holding their phones away from them.

 

They double up as an adventurous sex toy tho!

Selfie sticks at football! I see couples turning away from the pitch and sticking em up the air to get a pic, its always a classic example of say a manchester united fan whose at their first game at old trafford despite nearing their 30's!

Never got the point of selfies. Why would I want my ugly mug ruining something of actual interest?
Trust me, from personal experience, the Buda castle in Budapest and the views from the top of a mountain in Val D'isere are much better when taken with a decent camera than having to settle for the front facing camera on a phone.
The "selfie stick" is just an extension of the pointlessness of the entire exercise.

 

They're dead handy as it clearly points out the obnoxious twats that deserve a kicking.

My facebook is littered with insecure people taking selfies to get likes and attention.
Selfie sticks? Personally think people that own them should have them shoved up their arseholes. Was in Venice in November last year and the number of people using those things on canal bridges was ridiculous. Felt like shoving them in the ****ing canals.

 

It's indicative of what people are like ib modern day society........ me me me

 

You get the usual insecure morons taking them too:
- Women with next to nothing on that want men to tell them how amazing they are
- Narcissistic gym rats posing topless who think they're gods gift.

Both types should be stamped on.

Nah I ****ing hate them in general. But then my mate got hold of one and did a hilarious Benny Hill type cycle through the Dam holding one.

Go all North Korean on them. A cage full of starving Mackem dogs from Pennywell. Skin them alive first of course before covering them with salt. If they scream, spray on some vinegar.

 

Its the physical along with the psychological issues involved with the mirrors.

That's why I'm a massive fan of waterboarding. The psychological impact is great.

Or just stick a giant match in their japseye (is this now a racist term?) and light it.
