They are dropping like flies. Who/What's drove the latest posters away? They will end up a 'dying board'
Sunderland getting tanked in the "derby". Not sure what is going on there but someone needs to get hold of it. They've been to the relegation saviour well too many times over the last few years to be going back again. First 30mins - it looked on quality like 2 sides who would be in the battle down the bottom. Boro got a bit better, Sunderland got a bit worse. Fun to watch because you don't really care what results they get this season. Booed them off too . Surprised there are empty seats too, you'd have thought they'd all be well up for the new season with new manager etc. The Spaniards are fining teams for showing empty seats on TV this season - ****ing crackers, its like North Korea.
Former Sunderland defender Gary Bennett on BBC Newcastle: "It's men against boys. Sunderland are all over the place and by the looks of it it could be three or four. There's still another half to go. "It's going to be a long season."
Have you seen our first 11/squad? I wouldn't pay money to watch that ****e. We are an abysmaly run football club sleep walking through a crisis at the worst possible time. Through injuries and utter twatishness by our players the spine of an already relegation threatened side has been torn out. What do we do? Get a 34 year old who nobody else wants. Make sure yous wave when we pass eachother at the end of the season.
Not good at all mate. Can't blame the fans. This has been season on season for a long long time. Sort is taking the piss. At least Ashley has been quite open when he has intended to! I don't know how good the likes of McNair, Love are. Januzaj has potential. But they are not what you should be relying on when you are in that league. There is plenty of annoyance at Kaboul, Kone, jumping ship. The problem is unless you invest and look like you want to speculate to accumulate and develop, then players say "short career, I'm off". The football landscape has changed and you have to get with the programme or you will drop. There are exceptions at both ends of the scale. We invested last year and still ****ed it up. Leicester not so much but won the bloody league. Generally though the rule of investment against progress is pretty clear. You seem to have weakened the squad. You have had some bad luck with Allardyce situation which is pretty hard to govern. Its just not an excuse though. I'd almost feel sorry for you if you weren't Sunderland. I have mates who are sunderland fans and they are not happy. They were full of the joys in May, but just feel as though they've had their chips pissed on yet again. I think groundhog day is the general feeling. Short might think he can just sack Moyes at Xmas and turn this round. I think he will find one of these days that doesn't work. When it does happen, it could be catastrophic. If we stay down here this season we will know about it next season! We are by no means guaranteed to go up, its a tough league. A few seemed to think otherwise but I think even they know it now after the first two games. You have to give the fans something back. You can't just rely on blind faith. Pienaar etc is not going to do that.
On the plus side those pink seats have faded a bit more and are starting to look white. Ups and downs really.
Well I'm looking forward to all our visitors from the dark side tonight. I'm sure The Nibbler and others will be along soon jump all over our sorry plight...
**** sake Comm, we get your lot cribbing our board regular - its dying you know. I pop in for a look to see what we are missing on the dark side, we have 40 pages of meandering about Kone, money, Ellis being ****. And then pair of tedious children going tit for tat endlessly here http://www.not606.com/threads/sunderland-v-middlesbrough-13-30-21st-aug-13-30.334485/page-17 - I assume there is history there but do Bri and what appears to be someone called Stu/Monk etc have to be so utterly boring? This is what we are supposed to aspire to?
